The 1980s in Los Angeles were a very exciting time for the underground music scene. The Music Machine, The Anti-Club, Fender's ballroom and of course the Whiskey and the Roxy were the go-to clubs for new bands to get discovered. From 1984 to 1989 I shot many up and coming band in those clubs to provide content for a music show called MusiCalifornia. Many of the bands I shot were not signed at the time.
